DubHacks is a tech and entrepreneurship non-profit in Seattle run by students at the University of Washington.
We bring together students of all backgrounds to tackle the issues they are most passionate about through our annual flagship collegiate hackathon and our student-run startup incubator and entrepreneurship community.
💡 Challenge students to create technology responsibly
💻 Engage & center underrepresented people in the industry to advance equity in tech
📚 Connect students to resources that support their development as technologists
🌱 Foster a welcoming and vibrant community for students to experiment and grow together
As a designer for DubHacks, I worked with two other designers to design the experience for the largest hackathon in the PNW from scratch with over 600 attendees. Together, we developed the web/mobile UI, visual designs, and animations in collaboration with the tech team to develop our Evergreen and DubHacks '21 brands and websites. I led the efforts of developing our Evergreen brand identity, our home-base for all things DubHacks, which included style guides, logos, color palettes, illustrations, and other assets. As a team, we conceptualized new brand identity for all hackathon materials including social media posts, banners, t-shirts, stickers, and opening/closing ceremony slides.
